ViaVia boutique hotel – Kathmandu is a Belgian-Nepali run hotel located near the Boudhanath stupa in Kathmandu.

We have 19 modern, individually decorated rooms. The general theme for decoration is in a colorful Tibetan style derived from Tibetan Buddhism and culture.

This style was chosen because many of the ethnic groups of the mountainous region of Nepal (like the Sherpas, Tamangs,..) have their origin in Tibet. Tibetan Buddhism is without any doubt one of the most important religions in Nepal.

What’s more is that ViaVia is situated at less than 1 km away from the most important Buddhist stupa of Nepal, Bouddhanath stupa.

You could say that ViaVia Kathmandu is in the center of Tibetan Buddhist culture of Nepal.
